Summary of Duties:
- The Technician III ISC performs electronic and/or electro-mechanical production fabrication or assembly operations, including repair, modification, and retrofit
- Works from prints, sketches, specifications, job layouts, and other written, visual and/or oral instructions
- Conducts fabrication of cables; tests cables, equipment setup, equipment operations, and monitoring and measuring; gathers data; builds prototypes/units and test equipment
- Soldering of electronic components and wire using a microscope
- Inspect, including self-inspect, and perform tests of various product components
- Use of hand and power tools to assist in the fabrication of cables and electronic assemblies
- Works in accordance with general objectives, improving and refining devices and methods, as necessary
- Use of Six Sigma and Lean practices to improve daily work
- Participation in team related activities
- May perform other duties as required
