Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates facilities for the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA), in Albuquerque, NM as well as the Kansas City National Security Campus. Honeywell FM&T - New Mexico Operations provide state-of-the-art engineering, manufacturing, transportation technologies, emergency response and sourcing facility produces a wide array of intricate components to deliver trusted national security products and government services primarily for the NNSA. Summary of Duties:
- Represents the company to resolve programmatic and customer issues pertinent to program viability
- Provides leadership for staff development and holds them accountable to meet personal and business objectives
- Provides technical and administrative evaluation of work unit's goals, development, and performance
- Directly supervises employees and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; providing recognition and discipline as appropriate; addressing complaints; and resolving problems
- Develops and implements staffing plans, budget proposals, expense budgets, and equipment requirements consistent with anticipated workloads
- Serves as liaison between customers, Operations, Finance, Quality and Engineering organizations to ensure effective communication and that adequate support services are provided as required
- Encourages and facilitates internal and external teamwork and promotes customer service
- Provides project/program management leadership and oversight to achieve metrics, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
- Work with management and other functional areas to formulate and implement strategies necessary to meet a broad range of company-wide objectives
- Develop and implement strategies for the NSE that position Honeywell FM&T to be more responsive and flexible, focusing on a longer-term (5 - 10 year) horizon
- Participate as a member of technical advisory committees and represent management, as directed, in meetings or appropriate functions
- Work with current and future customers to understand customer needs and their impact on future Honeywell FM&T planning and strategies
