Job Title: Program Manager

Science, Engineering, Management Solutions LLC (Sem-Sol) is a small business in Albuquerque, NM on the forefront of science and industry. Our skilled scientists, engineers and technicians specialize in directed energy and pulsed power systems and use innovative technology to develop innovative solutions for a range of Department of Defense agencies and commercial industries.

Sem-Sol is seeking a dynamic leader who can direct multiple teams to successful project completion. We are looking for a program manager who is:

• Self-motivated - you know what needs to get done, so you do it (because you don't like micromanaging, and neither do we).
• Organized - you could be leading multiple programs simultaneously, so you need to be able to manage the details: budgets, deadlines, reporting requirements, etc.
• Experienced - you will be leading a technical team that ranges in experience, so we need to count on your knowledge and execution of program management methodology and techniques, budgeting, and resource allocation to keep everyone on task and on target.

Duties will include:

• Daily management of projects.
• Defining the project controls.
• Scheduling the overall project and monitoring the progress.
• Managing the project s budget.
• Managing risks and issues and taking corrective action measurements.
• Planning and executing communication plans to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years project/program management experience; specifically, federal government contracts.
• Experience working in an R&D or prototyping environment.
• Experience working with directed energy or pulsed power projects.
• BA or BS

• Active Security Clearance is required or ability to obtain a security clearance.
