You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
· Leads and coordinates test design, development and/or analysis functions on advanced and complex engineering test projects in the development and qualification stage.
· Develops solutions to technical problems specifically assigned or as they arise by applying engineering principles and technologies.
· Specifies, initiates, and coordinates with internal and external customers to accomplish project deliverables.
· Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Supports Sustainment with timely engineering solutions.
· Compiles cost estimates, monitors performance, and prepares reports to leadership on overall test program status.
· Interacts with design agencies and suppliers to assist in resolving test design, test development, and acceptance issues.
· Provides project leadership and execution on complex engineering projects.
· Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HSE&F requirements to ensure the protection of associates, the public, and the environment.
· Compiles and shares lessons learned with peers for knowledge sharing of technical and project management subjects.
· Maintains and generates documentation required by policies, procedures, and engineering department.
· The Engineer, under moderate supervision, will leverage their knowledge of engineering processes, discipline and tools to plan and execute tasks and projects related to the development and certification of Honeywell Mechanical systems and components. Continuous improvement of our processes will be another primary responsibility.
