The purpose of the Sales Training Manager role is to effectively develop, manage established ongoing sales training initiatives, and lead the overall Sales Training function. The role requires efficient and professional program management and training support for both ILT (classroom) and Digital Learning programs, and significant interaction\coordination with SMEs across the organization. Primary responsibilities of the role include developing and driving standardized content, tools, and the facilitation of multiple programs including Sales Onboarding, Sales Skills Competency, Sales Webinar Series, Accelerator Content, Seller assessments, Sales Manager Training, Negotiation Skills, Key Account and Solution Selling.
As new programs are developed and matured, the Sales Training Manager will provide similar leadership. The candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be a comfortable and experienced facilitator, with a proactive and professional approach to working effectively within a matrix environment. They will have deep experience using MS Office products, with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Outlook, Word, and PPT. They will also have genuine interest in working within the Sales Excellence function. This person will play an important role developing and executing (including logistics/coordination) key training priorities to include:
· Sales Onboarding / New Hire Training
· Sales Webinar series
· Accelerator
· Challenger
· Negotiations Skills
· Key Account and Solution Selling (and related SPI programs)
· Sales Manager Training (pipeline, oppty reviews, coaching…)
· Seller Compliance
· Channel training efforts
· Future sales training priorities (i.e., Presentation Skills)
