The Global Resiliency Organization establishes policy and standards for Resiliency at Honeywell SPS including Business Continuity (BC), Crisis Management (CM), Incident Management (IM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Governance. The SPS Resiliency Director will be responsible for implementing the minimum requirements as per the Global Resiliency Standards and augmenting where necessary within all areas of the business. The role will report to the SPS Vice President Health, Safety, Environment & Resiliency with a matrix reporting line to the Vice President Global Business Resilience.
Overview of Responsibilities
· Be responsible for implementing and continuously optimizing the Resilience programs (BC, CM, IM, DR) within SPS consistent with the Global Honeywell standard for these programs.
· Provide global leadership and oversight for SPS for all Resiliency matters to include the Business Continuity life cycle, incident and crisis management and other resiliency risks that have the potential to impact SPS
· Partner with senior leadership in the business and develop strong working relationships with global SPS business leaders and plant locations to develop a comprehensive view of the business risk and impact picture, mitigation measures and gaps to deliver robust resilience strategies.
· Facilitate implementation of the Business Continuity lifecycle for critical functions, ensuring the effective development of business continuity risk assessments, business impact analyses, protection and recovery strategies, and business continuity plans. Ensure compliance to maintenance requirements, including periodic plan reviews and exercises.
· Be accountable to the training and exercising of the SBG Crisis Management Team and support the reporting requirements during any crisis events.
· Be the Resiliency SME within SPS, and be responsible for implementing, maintaining, exercising, and facilitating the effective and efficient management of the Incident Management program globally, wherever SPS has locations and operations. Understand associated risk escalation criteria with the partner programs
· Drive the adoption of Honeywell’s Emergency Communication system within SPS including the SPS wide exercise and testing program in accordance with the Honeywell Global Resiliency Standard
· Be accountable for maintaining the appropriate metrics and risk information to drive continuous improvement in the busines and work with the VP Global Business Resilience to develop the Global Honeywell Picture of resilience for the company.
· Drive and maintain a sound governance program within SPS in accordance with the Honeywell Global Resiliency Standard that keeps all SPS’s Resiliency program components aligned, current, relevant, actionable auditable, and continually improving.
· Develop and maintain a training and awareness program with SPS that aligns with the Global Standard and meets the requirements of the business. Mentor key stakeholders within the SBG Resiliency program to ensure consistency of roles and responsibilities and effective management of the development of all aspects of the Resiliency Program.
