Safety & Productivity Solutions (SPS) is a strategic business
group within Honeywell International, Inc. SPS innovates and develops world
class technologies, products and service to service supply chain, healthcare,
safety, environment industries and segments. SPS is expanding both organically
through New Product Introductions and Breakthrough Initiatives, and
inorganically through M&A, joint ventures and venture investments.

As a key member of the SPS Strategy team, you will own the
Strategy Function across SPS and will lead/support all aspects of strategy and
growth objectives. You will be required to work extensively with
cross-functional teams in the execution of these duties. You will provide
guidance and process leadership to business segment teams in the field and have
frequent contact with the SPS global leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Engages directly with SPS business leaders on strategy development and prioritized growth areas, with primary responsibility for leading annual SPS strategic planning process and quarterly progress assessment
- Works with business leaders and Chief Strategy Officer to prioritize and drive strategic alignment
- Leads evaluation process for organic and inorganic growth, including market analysis and competitive assessments in prioritized strategic growth areas.
- Identifies and prioritizes breakthrough initiatives and new areas for growth
- Partners with Chief Technology Officers to evaluate disruptive technologies, promoting ideation and driving strategic and operational decision making
- Thinks creatively about markets and adjacencies in which Honeywell plays and recommends attractive areas where it can invest in R&D and invest to acquire similar or adjacent products which will accelerate Honeywell’s growth
- Provide guidance and direction to market & competitor research and analysis teams
- Analyze data to identify trends and emerging opportunities in vertical markets
- Provide SPS business units with expert-level market insights
- Track competitor movements and determine implications for SPS businesses
- Support M&A team with market analyses and player insights to identify potential inorganic paths and targets
- Support growth day and breakthrough initiatives with data backed insights and deep vertical understanding
