You will be a key professional in
the HSE function. You will implement processes and
drive HSE performance metrics for Honeywell Building Technologies
Service & Projects Americas. You will accomplish this by establishing
strong working relationships with the employees you support. You will report
directly to the HBS HSE Americas Manager. You will be the
key HSE resource within the West region directing sustainable health
and safety programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes and
keeping in front of leading practices in health and safety standards including
but not limited to the following activities:
Key Responsibilites:
▪ Integrate, monitor, and support Health and
Safety programs to ensure compliance with the applicable guidelines,
procedures, and regulations.
▪ Support assessing risks and
implementing controls for major projects and maintenance contracts through
completion of Honeywell’s extensive digital risk assessment process.
▪ Completing inspections and audits to
identify risks within the field and working with the business to establish
holistic controls that can be deployed to address similar risks and hazards.
▪ Working with the leadership teams
of the businesses supported to further the HSE culture and focus on
key initiatives.
▪ Investigating incidents as they occur.
Provide oversight to worker's compensation program management as
required.
▪ Incorporate continuous
improvement using Honeywell's Health and Safety initiatives through
Honeywell's Operating System activities.
▪ Continuously improve and maintain
an HSE management system compliant with ISO 45001 and internal
corporate audit criteria.
▪ Provide proactive integration
of HSE initiatives across the Americas, keeping in front
of leading-edge safety awareness. Participate in cross regional and
cross business teams to brainstorm ideas on how to continuously
improve the HSE programs.
