Summary of Duties:
- Performs multiple functions to ensure IT infrastructure related to our SolarWinds Orion Platform is available, reliable, and stable either individually or under the guidance of experienced personnel
- This includes the evaluation, selection, installation, and maintenance of operating systems software and hardware for our monitoring solution
- Monitoring the systems and serving as a focal and escalation point for support is also done routinely
- Support is generally for medium to large scale systems of high criticality to the business Planning for the future by setting direction and documenting direction for their specific area of responsibility for the information systems infrastructure is expected
- Evaluate, configure and maintain systems including installing and testing new releases
- Monitor and evaluate operating efficiency, analyze performance and tuning
- Analyze system problems to identify problem areas
- Follow established procedures required for efficient management of the infrastructure
- Maintain appropriate records including statistical reports, inventories, and technical documentation among others
- Install new or enhanced applications and/or hardware; assist in the installation of servers
- Work with peers to achieve goals and complete tasks based on guidance from management or other experienced personnel
- Follow established procedures required for efficient management of the infrastructure

- Manage medium enterprise projects according to division standards and requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert within one's area of responsibility regarding information systems infrastructure
- Has broad technical knowledge of information systems and recommends solutions based on current infrastructure components
- Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements
