In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. Summary of Duties:
- Coordinate with internal partners such as Quality and ISC and external partners such as Design Agency Configuration Management teams to ensure configuration management of product definition, related data and systems
- Coordinate creation and maintenance of Items and MBOMS in ERP that meet all product definition standards
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and manage the overall activities of a team focused on drawing release, change order management, EBOM management, Specification Review and procedural consultation
- Partner with others to balance the potentially competing needs of multiple customers
- Champion initiatives to improve critical business processes
- Provide technology vision, strategy, and Business management oversight to innovations that reduce flowtime and improve productivity
- Cultivate career development of staff members through coaching, training, performance evaluations and challenging job assignments
- Exhibit strong internal customer interface skills and responsiveness to meet demanding schedules and balance competing priorities
- Team and negotiate with multiple functional disciplines to achieve performance goals and incorporate business improvements
- Effectively communicate with all levels of FM&T management and staff
- Provide oversight to ensure individual project accomplishments and overall work unit effectiveness
- Provide leadership for staff development, and hold staff accountable to meet personal and business objectives
