What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Key Accounts position at Honickman Company?
Reporting to VP of Retail Customer Sales, the Director of Key Accounts for the Honickman Companies will drive strategies and operational goals across the organization. The Director of Key Accounts will grow and develop trust, foster relationships, and sales with key customers. The incumbent will work across multiple channels in delivering the right resources, provide direction on key accounts, and address/resolve challenges as they arise.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Oversee key accounts by developing and maintaining customers relationships; and continuously identifying opportunities for expansion in market.
- Manage departmental budget, tracking volume and margin.
- Actively contribute to cross functional teams to ensure objectives are met and aligned across the organization.
- Manage a team, by coaching and counseling; and providing support as needed.
- Act as the voice of the customer, identifying pain points and opportunities within the market by ensuring successful delivery outcomes, value realization, and risk mitigation.
- Track promotional activity and provide post-ad analysis for accounts.
- Continuously drive process improvement in customer service, providing excellent support and satisfaction to our customer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 5 years Sales/Marketing Management experience; OR 7 years Sales/Marketing Management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong working relationships with internal /external teams.
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License. Travel 20% to field customer locations.
- Previous experience in managing small to midsize team.
- Prefer prior experience in GBG (Goods, Beverages & Groceries) markets in delivering solutions.
This position requires you to work out of our office in Landover, MD and will require 20-25% travel to our other office locations as well as customer sites.

Canada Dry offer a competitive salary of $115-140K. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Five (5) days of sick leave; three (3) weeks of vacation accrued throughout the year; seven (7) Company Paid Holidays (pro-rated based on hire date) and a 401K & Profit Sharing Plan with employer match.
