Shift timings: Monday to Friday, 8:30-5pm ET

Job Description

  • The Compliance & Operations Analyst provides support for the Company's Compliance Program by managing key Compliance operational activities including vendor management and associated processes; the HCP engagement system and process; the Case Management system and process; third-party due diligence system and process; monitoring systems and process; management certification process; and other relevant business support as needed.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

HCP Engagement System Administration
  • Manage compliance reconciliation of HCP activities and provide reports to prepare reconciliations for aggregate spend reporting, business analytics and exception reporting.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to address questions, provide advice and conduct ad hoc training on the system and associated processes.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Business Partner, business stakeholders, Legal, and Procurement/Contracting to ensure appropriate engagement and screening of HCPs and other customers.
  • Perform FMV rate calculations and ensure they are accurate and appropriate for the service; Conduct exclusion/debarment checks.
  • Accurately resolve and/or escalate system and user issues or concerns and on a timely basis.

Risk Assessment & Monitoring
  • Support execution of annual monitoring plan, which includes, but not limited to, review of HCP expenses, sign-in sheets, and other applicable record reviews.
  • Administer web-based monitoring tool including analysing, triaging, and closing system tickets.
  • Support execution of annual Risk Assessment.

Case Management System Administration
  • Manage cases from intake through completion.
  • Perform quality checks on inbound cases and work with reporters to correct discrepancies.
  • Monitor cases for timely completion and work with investigator to perform closing quality checks ensuring key indicators are completed and accurate.
  • Responsible for running system reports and performing weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates and preliminary analyses.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to address questions, provide advice, and conduct ad hoc training on the system and associated processes.
  • Administer web-based monitoring tool including analysing, triaging, and closing cases.

Integrity & Compliance Program Administration
  • Support compliance team with operational services for the business.
  • Oversee, monitor and support the Integrity & Compliance mailbox.
  • Obtain and provide documentation and data requested by external third parties and internal stakeholders, including Compliance personnel. Administer Vendor Learning Management System. This includes but is not limited to running reports, testing courses, partnering with vendor to update notifications and sending training reminders.
  • Other Compliance system and tool administration including those used for Document Management, Policy Management, Management Certifications, and Third-Party Due Diligence.
  • Records keeping and document management, which includes training records for employees and vendors, running reports from the learning management system, fulfilment all document requests, and other requests as needed.

Covered Persons Management
  • Administer Company's process for managing Covered Persons including covered vendors.
  • Process and disseminate reports upon request or as scheduled

• Vendor Covered Persons Tool
  • Administer and manage the vendor screening tool and manage the process which includes running reports and answering questions or the Business Owners and Vendor Contacts.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, Human Resources and business partners regarding the ongoing identification of vendors for purposes of screening.
  • Monitor Vendor Covered Persons Tool and send reminders to Business Owners and Vendor Contacts as needed.

Screening
  • Provide oversight of the Company's employee screening vendor and act as resource for the vendor; receives and manages vendor screening reports for appropriate follow-up.
  • Escalate flags in screening to Human Resources and Compliance per the Company process and log appropriate documentation in screening portal.

Minimum Requirements - Education / Experience / Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus
  • 3 - 5 years industry and compliance experience
  • Experience working under a government-imposed healthcare compliance program preferred
  • Some working knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations related to compliance with healthcare laws
