Hoogland’s Landscape is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to assist with various technology needs on a part-time or contracted basis. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting MacBooks, managing Google Workspace (Google Drive, Gmail, Docs, etc.), and providing general IT support for a growing business. This role is perfect for an IT professional looking for flexible work with a well-established company.
Responsibilities:
- MacBook troubleshooting – resolving hardware/software issues, system updates, and performance optimization.
- Google Workspace support – managing Google Drive file organization, recovering lost files, handling email issues, and setting up shared drives.
- Adobe Photoshop assistance – supporting our team with processing landscaping plans and troubleshooting software issues.
- Recovering lost files on MacBooks when needed.
- Basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Data backup and file recovery assistance.
- Software and application support for company-used platforms.
- Security best practices – ensuring devices and accounts are secure.
- General IT troubleshooting as needed for the office.
Qualifications:
✅ Experience with MacOS troubleshooting and support.
✅ Strong knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Drive, Gmail, Docs, etc.).
✅ Ability to recover lost files on MacBooks and cloud storage efficiently.
✅ Experience with Adobe Photoshop and ability to assist with basic troubleshooting.
✅ Ability to work on-site when necessary in Bossier City, LA.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explain tech issues clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with small businesses.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices.
- Prior experience in an IT support role.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Flexible hours based on business needs.
- Work may be remote for some tasks, but on-site presence is required for troubleshooting certain issues.
- Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
