The IT Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of technology systems across the organization. This individual will provide technical support, manage system administration tasks, oversee device and printer management, and contribute to IT systems design and business analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification and either hold or be willing to obtain the Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate certification within the first few months of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
IT SupportSystem Administration
- Manage service desk ticket queues, prioritizing issues based on user impact and business needs.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and cloud service issues, including internet and phone outages.
- Address non-computer-related technical issues (e.g., AV equipment, security cameras, access systems).
- Provide in-person, remote, and phone support to users, ensuring they can effectively utilize software and hardware.
Device Management
- Monitor systems for technical and security alerts, including virus activity.
- Install, configure, and update software applications.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, and licensing.
- Administer business services such as Adobe, ShareFile, and phone systems.
- Oversee on-premises servers, backups, and file restoration processes.
- Perform firmware updates for network equipment and manage domains/DNS records.
- Conduct cybersecurity training and simulation exercises.
Printer Management
- Maintain and document hardware inventory, including mobile devices managed via MDM systems.
- Enroll, configure, and troubleshoot mobile devices as needed.
- Order equipment and ensure inventory aligns with business needs.
Technical Maintenance
- Monitor and address printer alerts, including errors, supply shortages, and defects.
- Configure and manage scan-to-email functionality.
- Coordinate with service providers for advanced troubleshooting and repairs.
System Design & Project Management
- Repair, replace, and maintain IT and non-IT equipment, such as networking devices, AV systems, and IP phones.
- Oversee the installation of security cameras and conference systems.
IT Business Analysis
- Design and implement network, conference, audio-video, and security camera systems for new and existing properties.
- Research suppliers, prepare budgets, and coordinate project execution.
- Analyze business needs from an IT perspective and recommend practical solutions.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies to align IT strategies with business goals.
