Responsibilities
Ability to represent clients in court or before government agencies both in person and remotelyExperience in drafting legal documents and correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and courts as well as knowledge and experience in legal researchAbility to meet or exceed the monthly billing requirementBe careful and deliberate in planning and strategizing for clients as well as attention to detail on all casesDaily use of electronic case management system to ensure all files have the most up-to-date, organized and accurate informationDrive to cultivate and develop strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, not just being their representationUnderstanding and knowledge of the statutes and regulations within the state of NevadaMust be organized, a multi-tasker, deadline-oriented, a team player, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentQualifications
State Bar of Nevada member in good standing and in compliance with all legal standards, ethics, Nevada Statutes, and regulationStrong analytical, critical thinking, and cross-functional problem-solving skillsAttention to detail is a mustAdaptability, flexibility, and dependability are keyMust be able to work on own, but also be able to collaborate as part of a teamImpeccable time management skills with the ability to manage many and multiple competing strict deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal communication skills are critical as well as exceptional and persuasive writing skillsStrive to exemplify the highest levels of respect and performance daily for each client and their caseDaily usage of an electronic case management system to make sure files are organized and worked on effectively and efficientlyHighly motivated and have an interest in Employment-related and administrative lawCompensation
