As a Social Media Event Coordinator Intern at Hoop Brothers, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our event presence across social media platforms. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and event coordination within a dynamic and growing company. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, promoting events, and interacting with our audience to build buzz and drive participation.

1. Event Promotion and Strategy

• Content Planning: Develop and implement social media strategies to effectively promote upcoming events. This includes creating a content calendar that outlines posting schedules and key campaign milestones.
• Content Creation: Design and produce compelling social media content, including graphics, videos, and written posts. Ensure all content is on-brand and aligns with the event’s theme and objectives.

2. Social Media Management

• Post Scheduling: Utilize social media management tools to schedule posts in advance, ensuring timely and consistent promotion of events.
• Audience Engagement: Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions related to the event. Foster positive interactions and build relationships with our followers.

3. Event Coverage

• Live Updates: Provide real-time coverage of events through live posts, stories, and updates. Share behind-the-scenes content and highlights to keep our audience engaged and informed.
• Interaction: Monitor social media channels during events to manage conversations and address any issues or inquiries promptly

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), excellent writing and communication skills, and a creative mindset.
• Tools: Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred.
• Experience: Previous internship or work experience in social media or event coordination is a plus, but not required.
