General Summary:
The role involves operating equipment for pipe fabrication and ensuring adherence to quality standards. It also includes operating both welding and non-welding pipe production equipment, pulling materials from the warehouse, forklift operation, and performing routine shop equipment maintenance.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Operating automated and semi-automated welding equipment.
- Operating pipe cutting, threading, and grooving equipment as required.
- Testing of fabricated pipe to ensure weld quality.
- Retrieving materials from the warehouse for fabrication.
- Operating a forklift as necessary.
- Monitoring quality control of all shop production.
- Conducting routine maintenance on shop equipment.
- Performs other duties/special projects as assigned.
Description of Physical Working Environment:
- Physically demanding role involving continuous standing and walking.
- Regularly lifts materials up to 75lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Involves frequent twisting, bending, and turning.

Requirements:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Minimum one-year production experience with a high school diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Basic personal computer skills.
- Comfortable working within a team of 5-10 personnel while handling, welding, and threading approximately $4,000,000 worth of piping material.
