What You'll Do
The Inside Sales Specialist is the preliminary point of contact for leads and current customers and is responsible for providing excellent customer service and support and fulfilling quote requests.

The Inside Sales Specialist is the preliminary point of contact for leads and current customers and is responsible for providing excellent customer service and support and fulfilling quote requests.
- Provide preliminary business support for customers and sales representative partners including responding to inquiries and providing budgetary and formal quotes
- Respond in a timely and professional manner to any/all inquiries, questions, and/or concerns received via phone, e-mail, and company website
- Calculate product pricing using established formulas and by obtaining vendor pricing when necessary
- Effectively communicate relative product specifications, application information, material availability, shipments, etc.
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and applications and provide general product-related technical assistance
- Effectively coordinate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing team
- Coordinate with sales representatives regarding existing and potential customer applications
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Prior customer service or inside sales experience preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to gather and translate verbal and written concepts, processes, and technical information into easily understandable information for customers
- Eagerness to collaborate with a cross-functional team including management, manufacturing and assembly
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Self-starter with critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate potentially difficult information and diffuse situations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Interest in working as part of a small and growing company, with awareness about the opportunities and challenges that come with a highly adaptive environment
