Customer Service Dispatcher - Job Summary
The customer service representative will be responsible for answering calls, provide information, take customer orders, and accurately enter into the Dispatching software program. Must be willing to listen, learn, and resolve customer inquiries.
Customer Service Dispatcher - Duties and Responsibilities
- Able to think fast, find solutions, and respond quickly to customer issues, all with a polite and professional voice and manner
- Able to give accurate information to customers to help with their dumpster rental needs
- Able to listen and take accurate customer information to enter into dispatching software and credit card processing software
- Answer and manage incoming calls, and emails
- Ability to use telephone headset / phone system and able to answer multiple calls simultaneously
- Ability to use computer to research customer addresses for placement suggestions
- Ability to file orders
- Strive to meet and go above personal and team targets, goals, and quotas
Customer Service Dispatcher - Requirements and Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field
- Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems
- Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents or updating customer profiles/accounts
- Able to concentrate on multiple problems at once
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to answer the phone, listen actively, relay information, and type basic information simultaneously
- Customer-focused for positive customer experience and resolution
- Required to comply and follow all company policies and procedures
Customer Service Dispatcher -Physical Demands
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing - constantly
- Light work that may include moving/lifting objects up to 5 pounds - occasionally
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers – constantly
- Communicating with others to exchange information - constantly
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, etc – never

- No adverse environmental conditions (temperature-controlled office space)
