Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with members by providing consistent, high-quality service.
- Process payments, maintain account records, and complete insurance applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records in agency management systems, communicate with insurance carriers, and process documents with agencies such as the BMV.
- Serve as the first point of contact for members, whether in-person or over the phone, and assist with mail handling.
- Provide valuable insurance solutions to members by understanding their needs and offering appropriate products and services.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, sharing important information and progress on tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Property Casualty license in Indiana (or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire).
- 1-2 years of experience preferred in an insurance agency or customer service role.
- Experience with cash handling and clerical office tasks preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of personal lines insurance products and related banking products and services.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional demeanor and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions in various situations.
