Job Description
The Vice President, Mortgage Operations will oversee the development and execution of strategies for mortgage fulfillment, ensuring alignment with the credit union's overall mission and objectives. This includes providing oversight to all operational mortgage departments, including underwriting, processing, closing, funding, and servicing.
The successful candidate will continuously identify and implement strategies to optimize the mortgage lending process, improve efficiency, quality, and drive speed and capacity across all mortgage products. They will also improve established service levels for turn time for processing, underwriting, closing, and funding across all operational portfolios.
This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals. The successful candidate will foster a culture of excellence and accountability, setting clear goals and performance expectations, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
