Opportunity Overview : As an IT Help Desk Representative, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality technical support to both our internal team members and members. This includes troubleshooting issues, maintaining computer hardware and software, and supporting the implementation of new technologies that improve the member and employee experience.

What You’ll Do :

  • Mission & Service :
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external members, in alignment with HHCU’s service promises.

  • Act in the best interest of both members and the Credit Union, maintaining professionalism and providing timely, accurate resolutions.
  • Take ownership of each service request, ensuring quick follow-up and customer satisfaction.
  • Build lasting relationships with members through friendly, helpful, and high-quality service.
  • Member & Business Focus :
  • Offer expert advice and guidance on HHCU products and services, acting as a trusted resource for both team members and members.

  • Engage in proactive problem-solving, ensuring issues are fully addressed, followed up on, and resolved.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align your efforts with HHCU’s broader goals.
  • Acumen & Technical Savvy :
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and software, ensuring all equipment is functional and up to date.

  • Troubleshoot a variety of technical issues, including hardware, software, and network-related concerns.
  • Maintain inventories for equipment, ensuring all necessary supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Assist with the transfer of data, test backup power supplies, and perform regular system backups to ensure the integrity of HHCU’s technical infrastructure.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration :
  • Communicate effectively with the IT team and supervisors, keeping them informed of ongoing issues and providing updates on service requests.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and support for both team members and members.
  • Participate in department events and community outreach efforts to contribute to HHCU’s positive impact in the community.
  • What We’re Looking For :

  • Education & Experience :
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required; additional courses in computer technology preferred.

  • Experience with Windows 7 / 10, Active Directory, Office 365, MS Exchange, and Incident Management / ITIL preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, hardware, and network systems.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills, including concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.
  • Skills & Knowledge :
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with positive interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to analyze data and apply judgment to solve complex problems.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
