Hoover Automotive Group is currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join our team. Prior experience as a Human Resources Manager or in an HR Leadership role is required for this position.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resource role as a leader and 5 years in any other related supporting role in Human Resources.
- Human Resource certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance required.
- Strong written and verbal skills that are demonstrated through one’s ability to present clearly and communicate effectively are required.
- Ability to perform your own data analysis.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships internally and externally with an organization.
- Skilled in modern software to manage communications and human resource functions.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel 30-50% of your time to retail operation locations.
- Completed employment application, background check and screenings.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and facilitate onboarding new team member experience with the support of benefits agency and internal support.
- Guide dealership team member development through coaching dealership management in people management, process, and tactical team member development.
- Coach team leaders and managers on the authorship and follow through of impactful team member development plans and discussions for their team members.
- Partner with dealership management to ensure team members and their role has adequate training and standard operating procedures to optimize functionality.
- Provide staffing support to executive leadership and dealership management by collaborating on recruiting efforts, including building community outreach efforts.
- Proactively build relationships with corporate and dealership teams that support the Hoover culture through positive and engaging interactions with team members and the customers we serve.
- Efficiently and effectively communicate and execute on required legal compliance through analysis and consistent procedure adherence in accordance with developed Hoover standard operating policies.
- Lead the evaluation, integration, execution, and follow-up needed to successfully onboard and assimilate new team members into our culture.
