Hoover Energy Services has openings for Automation Technician I to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.
Ideal Automation Technician I would have experience in the following:
- Learning Basic IO
- Learning Analog Input Output Wiring
- Learning Digital Inputs Outputs Wiring
- Learning Comms Ethernet
- Learning Comms RS485/RS232
- Learning Modbus
- Learning Device Functions
- Learning Device Configurations
- Learning Wiring Relays Panels
- Learning How To Use Tools
- Ability to work in a team environment or alone with minimal supervision.
- Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
