What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Technician IV position at Hoover Energy Services?
Hoover Energy Services has openings for Automation Technician IV to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.
Ideal Automation Technician IV would have experience in the following:
- Complete Tech I, Tech II, Tech III. (Please see other job postings for details if needed)
- Modify HMI Programs from A->B
- Modify PLC Programs Advanced
- Full Understanding of Comms (Serial Ethernet)
- Full Understanding Of Modbus (RS485/RS282)
- Connect Devices Via Comms or Wiring – Full Understanding
- Ability to work in a team environment or alone with minimal supervision.
- Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
Experience:
4 Years of experience as an Automation Tech
