What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician II position at Hoover Energy Services?
Hoover Energy Services has openings for Field Technician II to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.
Ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
- Learning wiring Pump Panels w/understanding of options and reasoning why
- Learning wiring PLC Panel w/ understanding of why it’s wired the way it is
- Learning PD Meters
- Learning Divert Valves
- Device Troubleshooting start to finish
- Basic Electrical Troubleshooting
- Able To Rebuild Pumps (Different Types)
- BS&W Troubleshooting Cals
- Back Pressure Valve Rebuild
- Clean and Zero Mags Coriolis
- Able To Troubleshoot Sampling System On LACT
- Install and Repair DBB
- Install or Remove Valves
- Rebuild Divert Valve Or Replace
- Able to setting up Transmitters (Temp PITs)
- Able to understand the wiring AIs, AOs, DIs and Dos
- Radio Configuration
- Radio Troubleshooting
- Comms Installs (Correct Way)
- Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
- Candidate must have a clean driving record.
Experience:
2 years of experience as a Pump Technician/Pump Repair/Field Service
