Operations Specialist
Job Description
As the Operations Specialist with Hoover CS, you will be responsible for all administrative aspects of the logistics coordination for the Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) Division for the US. This will include financial, administrative, and clerical support for the IBC division.
Responsibilities:
- Processing customer requests
- Ensuring inventory count is correct
- Communication and contact with vendors
- Filing of invoices weekly
- Develop and maintain weekly inventory of tank availability between all Hoover and Third-Party locations in partnership with Operations
- Fleet verification with Operations on a weekly basis (number of units in and out of each location)
- Weekly Billable and Non-billable reports
- Assist direct supervisor with special projects as needed
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated on-going Supply Chain experience
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to quickly build and rapport, confidence and the trust of peers, employees, and executives
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally when using such means as, but not limited to email, telephone, documents, and presentations
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and work efficiently to see the work through to completion using sound business judgment following company policy and procedures
- High level of flexibility, commitment, and performance standards
Work Environment:
- Mainly working in an office environment but may spend up to 10% of time in an unairconditioned environment.
