Operations Team Lead
Responsibilities:
- Lead development and practice of ZERO HARM policies
- Satisfy Hoover CS’s expectations regarding quality, timeliness, communications, and other areas. Support Hoover Circular Solutions drive to develop customer loyalty
- Maintain and ensure that all SOPs are being followed.
- Coordinate training on company policy especially HSE and operational performance.
- Identify and implement activities to achieve goals, areas of cost and efficiency improvement
- Support personnel activities such as selection, training, or evaluation
- Maintain operational compliance with applicable regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain inventory in work area
- Must be able to paint, scrap and apply decal stickers to tanks
- Perform routine maintenance in the work area; i.e. sweeping and basic clean up
- Handle parts, materials, equipment, and tools used in the assembly process or to be shipped
- Must be able to work in a group.
Skills Required:
- 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations
- Knowledge of regulations surrounding packaging and shipment dangerous and hazardous materials
- Background in the refining/petrochemical catalyst industry
- Strong background in safety
- Knowledge of PPE and SDS sheets
- Demonstrate ability to complete work orders
- Demonstrate ability to work both alone and in groups
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently
- Moderate physical effort which requires standing on a concrete floor for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time.
- Ability to climb, bend, and stoop to perform various functions of the position
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Good visual acuity
