What the Evening Shift Supervisor (RN) Will Do :

Oversee the scheduling of nursing staff during the evening shift to ensure adequate coverage.

Deliver high-quality care tailored to the unique needs and ages of the residents served.

Conduct thorough assessments of new admissions and current residents as needed.

Perform rounds on all units, connecting with floor staff and residents to address concerns and provide support.

Facilitate seamless shift transitions by participating in handoff reports with the Night Shift Supervisor.

Maintain clear communication with Nursing Administration to ensure consistent and effective care across all shifts.

Requirements

Our ideal Evening Shift Supervisor (RN) candidate :

We're looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Evening Shift Supervisor with a compassionate mindset and a passion for helping seniors. A self-starter with enthusiasm and initiative. This team member who loves caring for residents and knows how to develop lasting trust. They also must have :

Current, valid RN state license

A nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college or university

Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions

Can foster good resident and family relationships

Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment

A passion for working with elderly residents

Experience in a long-term care required
