SUMMARY
The Equipment Sales Representative will be responsible for an assigned territory, selling oil / gas / propane heating and air conditioning equipment as well as whole house generators to residential customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve monthly sales objectives.
- Manage leads generated from our in-house call center.
- Establish leads and prospect sources through cold calling as well as developing relationships with small businesses and community organizations.
- Manage the book of business through our proprietary lead management system.
- Analyze customer's / prospect's heating and cooling needs and related system requirements, including layout and design of new HVAC systems.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations in the home.
- Prepare installation / terms documentation; complete equipment materials list and secure the necessary credit documentation.
- Work closely with branch operations - service and installation departments, to ensure that jobs meet customer needs and deliver complete customers satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of technological developments impacting the industry.
