QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in business, procurement, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare materials management or a similar position.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Office software and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Coordinate procurement activities, including ordering, receipt, distribution, and charging of medical supplies.
- Process special order requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with supply chain policies.
- Manage inventory by:
- Conducting regular counts
- Determining appropriate stock levels
- Monitoring usage, shelf life, and stock rotation
- Promote cost-saving initiatives, recommend product standardization, and collaborate with vendors for quotes and purchasing decisions.
- Review vendor sales orders for cost and quantity accuracy, ensuring timely payment processing with the finance team.
- Utilize materials management systems (MMIS) to track orders, charges, and usage reports while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Assist clinics with weekly replenishments and resolve any receiving challenges.
- Ensure receipt documentation is completed promptly to facilitate timely invoice processing.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with specialized contract negotiations or procurement projects that require additional coordination and expertise.
- Support Quality Management initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan supplies and materials for new construction or remodeling projects.
