Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with various needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, and hospice care requirements. Your primary goal will be to enhance the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding.
- Monitor medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions.
- Observe and report changes in client behavior or health status to appropriate personnel.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with medical and clinical support needs.
- Knowledge of CPR techniques is a plus.
- Ability to monitor medications accurately and responsibly.
- Experience in caregiving, particularly in memory care or dementia care settings, is highly valued.
- Strong observational skills to monitor client well-being effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
