We are a non-denominational, coeducational Christ-centered school in NE Albuquerque, serving families of children from preschool to high school. Since its founding in 1976, Hope Christian School has prayed for, equipped, and sent nearly 3,000 graduates to change the world. Annually, Hope Christian School educates approximately 1,200 students from Preschool through 12th grade. Job Summary : The High School Math Teacher will provide professional instruction to students using Biblical principles and a Christian worldview. This position may also teach an additional elective.

Essential Functions / Qualifications

Teach classes as assigned following the lesson plans.
Integrate biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education.
Maintain a strong educational classroom including discipline.
Proactively communicate with students, parents, and administration concerning each student’s performance
Know the procedures for dealing with emergency situations.
Inform the administration in a timely manner if unable to fulfill any duty assigned.

Qualifications

Have received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Reflect the purpose of the school, which is to honor Christ.

Comply with all Hope Christian School policies and procedures and attend all required meetings / trainings including but not limited to faculty meetings, student chapels, staff chapels, in-service trainings, required school functions, etc.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and related experience. Master's degree preferred .

Required : NM State teaching credential, ACSI certification, or ACTS certification acceptable at a minimum for 2 years
