What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enrollment Specialist position at HOPE Christian Schools?
Job Purpose
Under the direction of the Regional Compliance Manager for HOPE Schools, the Enrollment Specialist plays a critical role in leading the efforts to ensure the schools are fully enrolled with the scholars we strive to serve. This important role will be responsible for creating an outstanding experience for current prospective parents primarily through the Decision and Advocacy stages of the Parent Experience Journey (PEJ). The SAM will be responsible for DPI compliance with the Parental Choice Program.
Essential Responsibilities and Competencies
Lead Management:
- Contact all new leads within 24 hours
- Follow-up with unresponsive leads at least every other day
- Track all communications within our system, ZenSell
- Add leads to ZenSell that come from walk-ins, phone calls, referrals, or canvassing; collaborate with School Office Manager to ensure data is not missed
- Build an understanding of each family’s needs and interests through implementing our Admissions Signatures
- Create Connections, Inspire Others & Work As One, Sell to the Sweet Spot, Make Magic Moments, and Engage the External Community
- Schedule and follow-up on school tours
- Guide the parent through the admissions process, making the experience positive, straightforward, and engaging including
Ø Troubleshooting application issues such as email access
Ø Finding the correct documentation
Ø Talking through DPI regulations and they apply to the family
Enrollment Support
- Support schools in Enrollment Management Process
- Support schools with the Re-enrollment process
- Support schools with Count Day
- Support REM with audit preparation
- Support schools with the recruitment process by canvassing, attending community events, and supporting school events
- Work closely with parents to ensure that they complete the OLR process; this may include walking them through it, reaching out through multiple means to get the process completed
- Communicate with parents who fail to complete the OLR process in time to advise them on how to re-apply if desired
Additional Tasks
- Support with social media efforts not limited to creating posts, taking pictures, and collaborating with the school ambassadors
- Support with communication efforts including creating flyers and other resources on Canva for school events, communication, and social media
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

- Maturing Christ-follower who sees the fulfillment of this role and our mission as an active expression of their ongoing walk with Christ. (Includes regular participation in a local church and other faith-growing habits and communities to be filled up regularly so he/she is ready to pour themselves into our work, mission, and team. Also includes alignment with and desire to advance our Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct)
- Agrees to engage in the faith life of our scholars and in collaboration with other team members
- 1-3 years of experience; prefer experience working with the Parental Choice Program
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED; prefer bachelor’s degree
- Reliable transportation to travel between campuses
- Ability to work outside normal business hours to meet the needs of the parents

Work Location
This is an on-site role working from our regional office located in Milwaukee, WI.
