Job Summary: As an IT Support Technician at Hope Christian Services, your primary responsibility is to oversee the configuration, upkeep, and efficient functioning of technology-related products and services within our organization.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in IT.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to navigate web-based programs in the HCS ecosystem and effective communication via email.
- Possession of a valid driver's license in the state of residence with a good driving record.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Excellent verbal and written skills for effective communication with staff and vendors at all levels.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage HCS Document Imaging & Retention Program, including scanning and indexing.
- Responsible for the oversight of mobile technology, such as laptops, iPads, and cell phones.
- Provide troubleshooting support for all technology-related issues, including computers, printers, network connections, WiFi, phone systems, iPads, and website/intranet.
- Handle customer support calls and emails promptly and accurately.
- Analyze support issues, gather problem data, and determine appropriate solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive problem documentation and resolution procedures for future reference.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of HCS documents.
- Work with HCS applications, including BOX, Image Trust, JAMF, Sig Sync, Canva, and Datto.
- Assist in the transition from an external computer management company to in-house support and management of HCS computer systems.
- Stay current with technology developments and recommend new solutions to enhance the functionality of HCS's technology infrastructure.
- Cooperate with HCS and the Department of Human Services during inspections or investigations.
- Manage computer moves and changes across all HCS facilities.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all technology assets.
- Be available for on-call hours as scheduled.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
