Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grants Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in securing funding for our programs through effective grant proposal writing and management. This position requires strong skills in contract management, technical writing, and strategic planning to ensure the successful execution of grant-funded projects. The Grants Manager will collaborate with various departments to develop programs that align with our mission and funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researching funding opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and other sources.
- Developing compelling narratives and proposals that align with the organization's mission and the funder's priorities.
- Writing and editing proposals, ensuring they meet all requirements and deadlines.
- Preparing budgets and financial projections for grant proposals.
Grant Management:
- Managing the grant lifecycle, from pre-award to post-award and close-out.
- Tracking grant expenditures and ensuring compliance with grant terms and conditions.
- Preparing and submitting grant reports, including narrative and financial reports.
- Monitoring grant progress and outcomes to ensure that project goals are met.
Funded Relationship Management:
- Maintaining relationships with funders through regular communication and follow-up.
- Attending conferences and networking events to identify new funding opportunities.
- Representing the organization at grant-related events and meetings.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintaining accurate records of grant-related activities.
- Managing grant budgets and ensuring financial compliance.
- Collaborating with other staff members to ensure successful grant implementation.

Skills and Qualification's
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., communications, public policy, non-profit management).
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in grant writing, grant management, or related field. Understanding of local, state, federal, and foundation grants with federal grant experience being the most important.
Skills:
