Position Summary:
The Youth Pastor will lead and manage the Student Ministry, focusing on the spiritual education and well-being of the church's 6th to 12th-grade students. This role involves engaging with guests and prospects within this age group and serving as a resource and contributing member of the church's college and career ministry leadership team.

Anticipated Time Commitments:
1. Ministry work and preparation: 40 hours per week
2. Meetings and training: 3-4 hours per month (including SaLT Meetings, Youth Leadership Team Meetings, Sunday School Meetings, and Monthly Pastor Meetings)
Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Oversee Youth Ministry:
- Provide direction for the youth ministry in alignment with the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
- Identify the needs and interests of teens within the church and the broader community.
- Develop and implement programs that cater to these needs, evaluating existing initiatives for effectiveness.
- Introduce ministry opportunities for teens, including planning and attending one summer camp annually and organizing a mission or community service project each year.
2. Leadership and Support:
- Hold monthly meetings with youth ministry leaders to pray, strategize, and share updates on events, challenges, and successes.
- Recruit and train youth workers, organizing one central training workshop annually.
- Offer individual counseling and spiritual guidance to teens.
- Engage in outreach initiatives to connect with teens who have visited the church, including personal visits and follow-up communications.
3. Program Management:
- Lead weekly Bible studies or services for teens.
- Organize at least two youth retreats annually for spiritual growth.
- Visit hospitalized teens as needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities throughout the year.
4. Administrative Duties:
- Develop and manage the youth ministry budget, tracking expenditures regularly.
- Create and distribute a youth directory for connection among teens and youth workers.
- Conduct personal evaluations with youth candidates for baptism.
- Coordinate youth ministry efforts with the SaLT team and the church calendar.
- Oversee weekly communications with parents and prepare monthly newsletters for youth ministry activities.
5. Event Planning:
- Participate in Organizing annual church leadership training and a yearly Ministry Fair Day to foster collaboration among staff and ministry leaders.
-Plan a Yearly Mission Trip and/or Service Project.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33,645.00 - $40,000.00 per year
