We’re looking for a Recreation Coordinator to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska.
Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
As our Recreation Coordinator, you will implement quality recreational programs engaging with your local community. Every day we'll rely on you to expand the skills and abilities of Hope recipients and foster inclusive recreation with the larger community. To thrive in this role, you should passionate about putting on events and activities that promote inclusive play.
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Therapeutic Recreation, Adaptive Recreation, or directly related field; and,
- Two years’ work experience in formalized recreation program, one year of which involves supervisory experience; or,
- Equivalent combination of related education and/or work experience.
