Hope For Youth is looking to hire a Case Aide for our Therapeutic Foster Care Program in Amityville! Hope For Youth is a nonprofit organization striving to provide positive outcomes for children, adolescents, and families for over 50 years! To be a successful Case Aide you must be ready, willing, and able to do the following always:
- Function within the policies and procedures as outlined in the program practice guide and employee manual
- Assist casework and home finding staff in daily activities as assigned
- Achieve positive outcomes for clients as part of a team
- Complete all necessary reports, paperwork and forms as outlined in the program guide
- Adhere to state regulations and applicable code of conduct
- Perform other resulting and necessary work to meet the needs and requirements of the clients, the program, Hope For Youth, oversight agency and any other regulatory obligations
How you will generally spend your time in this job:
- 70% General responsibilities such as conducting/supervising visits; transporting youth to/from appointments, school, foster home; completing documentation, maintaining records, scheduling appointments, answering phones and casework items as assigned
- 20% Assisting the Director with entering incident review forms into the access database; assisting with the monthly Continuous Quality Improvement meetings
- 10 % Staff meetings/supervision/training
To qualify for this job you need to have at minimum:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- A Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing
- Computer Knowledge
- Fluent in English/Spanish preferred
- Physical Requirements: read/write reports and log entries, walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, repetitive wrist/finger movements, ongoing access to reliable vehicle and driving own vehicle for work
This opportunity is being offered as Full-Time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday. 35-hour work week; Flexible but MUST include Saturday
