Hope Harbor, Inc.: A Sexual Trauma Recovery Center is hiring a full-time Service Coordinator (40 hours/week) to provide crisis intervention, referrals, and service coordination for adult and child survivors of sexual assault and abuse. The Service Coordinator performs duties within the Clinical and Advocacy Departments. This position will be clients’ first point of contact with the agency to begin the coordination of services including interagency and outside referrals. The Service Coordinator will also build relationships with community partners to increase the number of referrals. This position is based out of the Bowling Green, Kentucky office with possible travel to other satellite offices within the ten county area served.

Job Duties:
- Conduct initial intake of clients transitioning to the Clinical Therapy Department
- Develop plans with clients to assist with the immediate needs as a result of victimization
- Answer crisis line calls during business hours and respond to hospital advocacy requests
- Gather personal information relative to perspective clients for follow up
- Provide crisis intervention, referrals, and information services on the telephone and in person
- Coordinate services and follow-up on referrals made to community partners
- Maintain relationships with community partners, and provide consultation and information
- Build relationships with community partners to increase referrals for services. Actions includes emails, phone calls, meetings, providing Hope Harbor information pamphlets/referral forms, and attendance at partner sponsored community events.
- Enhance community engagement through education and training for service providers and community partners.
- Provide support for groups and presentations for justice involved and recovery populations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other related mental health field
- One year experience in the field
- Must be willing to travel within Barren River Area Development District
- Available for on-call crisis intervention shifts with travel after business hours and some weekends
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be culturally competent to work with diverse populations including but not limited to LGBTQ , migrant and refugee, limited English proficient, and individuals with disabilities.
