Manager of Admissions
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement efficient intake and admissions procedures that foster strong partnerships with members, families, case managers, referral, and funding sources, leading to increased referrals.
Collaborate with Hope Haven leadership and staff to provide prompt, responsive service to Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and referral sources, ensuring high customer satisfaction and effective internal and external communication.
Respond to inquiries from referral sources within 24 hours, offering recommendations and referral packets as needed.
Create and maintain electronic referral files within 24 hours of receipt; manage admissions information until case assignment or closure.
Address and resolve MCO concerns by identifying issues, coordinating resolutions, and following up for satisfactory outcomes.
Ensure admissions procedures comply with all applicable regulations and support seamless communication with service teams.
Coordinate and conduct pre-placement tours and interviews for Community Living and Employment sites.
Establish processes and quality reviews to complete all enrollment requirements before or on the enrollment date.
Prepare annual reports on intake and admissions activities and conduct six-month post-closure follow-ups on ineligible referrals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in related field or 3 years of leadership experience in human services or health care
Strong interpersonal skills—approachable, friendly, and an attentive listener.
Knowledge of physical, mental, and social impairments and their impact on various aspects of life.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, with a strong commitment to customer service and compliance.
Must pass all required background checks as per service standards.
Valid driver's license
Clearance from a criminal background check and abuse reporting check at time of hire.
