Key Responsibilities:
Fiscal Management:
- Oversee and optimize the organization’s fiscal operations, including budgeting, cash flow management, and day-to-day bookkeeping.
- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis and reports to senior leadership, including the CFO & CEO.
- Advise on cost management strategies and financial implications of potential operational decisions.
- Manage and maintain a system that ensures the timeliness of the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to management.
Accounting Operations:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting system functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Perform all bookkeeping tasks to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately and promptly recorded.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Human Resources Management – Support:
- Oversee employee payroll and benefits enrollment processes.
- Maintain an effective employee record-keeping system and ensure accurate payroll processing.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and budget variances.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial management, including bookkeeping, in an organization of similar or larger size.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (highly desirable).
- Experience managing teams of at least 3 employees.
- Expert in accounting software (Quickbooks) and non-profit accounting.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit financial regulations and best practices.
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and organizational efficiency.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday (at least 37.5 hours per week).
- Occasional local travel may be required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
