Position Summary
Hope Lives! is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support our programs, staff, and Board. As a small non-profit, we rely on community donations and fundraising, making this role vital to our operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to our mission. This role includes assisting with events and fundraising, which may require occasional evening and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office activities, including handling mail, answering phones, and responding to general inquiries
- Greet and assist clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Process provider invoices and maintain accurate financial records
- Draft and send thank-you notes and assist with event planning and execution
- Ensure client and provider confidentiality and respect diversity
- Support special events and fundraising initiatives
- Represent Hope Lives! positively in the community, engaging with local businesses, service providers, and non-profits
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Program Manager, and/or Board members
This role will assist in supporting Hope Lives!'s digital presence and community outreach. The Administrative Assistant will help coordinate social media content and scheduling under guidance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. They will also collaborate with the team on email marketing campaigns, assist in updating website content using Wix, and help create marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and event graphics using Canva. Additionally, they will support efforts to track and analyze digital engagement metrics to enhance outreach strategies and amplify the impact of Hope Lives!'s mission.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tech-savvy; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Experience in fundraising, event planning, or marketing is a plus
- Familiarity with social media management, Wix, and Canva is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a wage of $20.00 per hour for up to 20 hours per week. Employees receive 10 paid holidays and become eligible for paid time off after six months of employment. The role is in-person, covering core daytime office hours in mid-town Fort Collins.
