Position Overview:
In this role as Office Manager at Hope Lutheran Church, you will play a crucial part in our administrative operations and digital communications. This role requires a professional who is organized, compassionate, and skilled in handling complex interactions with both church members and the wider community.
Responsibilities Include:
General Administration:
- Manage calls, calendars, meetings, and worship service coordination with utmost precision.
- Handle travel bookings and expense reporting with a keen eye for detail.
- Ensure the church office runs smoothly by managing supplies, organizing membership records, coordinating volunteer activities, and overseeing general upkeep.
Event Coordination Event Planning (Event Planner):
- Assist with the planning and execution of church events to create memorable experiences for both members and guests.
- Contribute to local marketing efforts as directed by senior leadership to increase event participation and community involvement.
Digital Media and Communication:
- Develop and manage content for social media and the church website to foster community engagement.
- Edit and proofread communications to ensure they are clear, accurate, and reflective of the church’s core values and mission.
Minimum Requirements:
- A heartfelt devotion to Jesus and consistent participation in worship.
- A welcoming and nurturing personality, conducive to a positive office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365.
- Excellent writing, communication, and editing skills, with a background in digital media, social media, or marketing.
- An organized and proactive approach, even in dynamic environments.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
