Job Summary :
Tapping into the power of digital content, the Media Producer oversees the development, distribution, and strategic efforts of creating messaging to connect people more deeply to God through Hope Media Group's brands and platforms. They work cross-functionally to ensure flawless execution of various content creation, curation, and distribution efforts. They support all our brands through digital content that directly supports and is an extension of our radio broadcasts. They are also actively engaged in reaching a new audience outside of radio through Hope Nation, World's Biggest Small Group and any other brand under the Hope Media Group family of brands. In a pre-production environment, the Media Producer collaborates with the team to discover innovative ways to tell stories through digital content. In a production environment, they are responsible for creating, capturing, and curating content using industry-standard recording equipment, techniques, software, tools and methods. In a post-production environment, they edit and distribute high quality, compelling and easy to share digital content. Hope Media Group the home of KSBJ, WayFM, Vida Unida and NGEN radio. This position resides in either Houston, TX or Nashville, TN and local candidates are highly preferred.
Essential Functions :
Content Creation :
- Create and distribute high quality, compelling and easy to share new digital content (visual, written, audio) for Hope Media Group brands and platforms.
- Storyboard, capture, and curate, edit and distribute video content that grows organic retention and views on YouTube across all Hope Media Group brands.
- Capture, curate, edit and distribute audio, graphic and photo projects to Hope Media Group web properties and platforms.
- Executes shoots on site / on location including audio, camera operation and talent directions.
- Handles assignments requiring special lighting, multiple locations, creativity, special audio needs, custom graphics and animation.
- Edit and utilize existing video footage for organizational projects.
- Collaborate with outside vendors on video projects as needed.
- Provide supportive collaboration in the creation of ministry policy and process for video capture.
- Completes trouble and preventive maintenance on video and audio production equipment.
- Maintains video equipment inventory and production schedules
