Occupational Therapist CFA at Hope Network Behavioral Health
The Occupational Therapist plays a key role at Hope Network, responsible for providing clinical evaluations, consultations, and rehabilitation programming for individuals at the Center for Autism.
This includes:
- Maintaining accurate treatment records
- Collaborating with center staff to ensure comprehensive delivery of services
- Conducting preliminary screenings, ADL and clinical evaluations, and developing treatment plans
- Promoting community integration and supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

- Regular attendance is an essential requirement of this position
- Train, schedule, and supervise assigned staff in carrying out individual treatment plans
- Services may include sensory processing evaluations, ADL assessments, designing and monitoring treatment plans, and promoting community integration
- Develop and implement groups and family education programs
- Evaluate progress and maintain accurate records of treatment
- Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team and participate in goal development, coordination of services, and discharge planning
- Develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
- Attend meetings, present verbally, and order treatment supplies and equipment
- Provide supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT students
Position Qualifications
- Master's degree in occupational therapy required
- Licensed by the State of Michigan (MS, OTR/L)
- Two years of professional work experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
- Valid driver's license required according to Hope Network policy
