What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk position at Hope Neurological & Medical Services?
Greet patients, visitors, customers at front desk
· Answer and screen incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
· Determine the appropriate time of appointment and schedule accordingly
· Schedule follow up visits for existing patients
· Address patient/customer concerns and direct them to the appropriate personnel and follow-up to ensure concerns or issues are resolved
· Prepare patient charts at least one day in advance
o Ensure all prior referrals are sent to other offices
o Obtain all prior records before the day of the appointment
o Coordinate referrals
· Conduct appointment confirmation phone calls two days in advance and reschedule appointments as needed
· Type correspondence, reports, and memos in patient’s file
· Oversee front office flow during clinic and ensure an efficient and productive clinic session
· Reschedule missed/no show appointments
· Check voicemails daily
· Maintain inventory and submit front office supply order to administration
· Maintain waiting room and patient restrooms
· Provide support to the Office Manager and other duties as requested and deemed appropriate for this position
· Complete any other tasks within the scope of the position
Salary : $16 - $19
