**Job Overview:**
Understanding of services needed for clients with behavioral health issues,substance abuse, criminal damage, assults on others, family problems, in need of independent living skills and career development.
Supervising clients ages 18 and over in a residential setting, with experience with substance abuse issues, cunduct disorders,and oppositional defiant behavior and psychotropic medication.
**Duties:**
- Implement ABA-based interventions and behavioral strategies to promote positive behaviors and social skills.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, including crisis intervention and behavioral management techniques.
- Utilize data collection methods to track progress and identify areas of improvement.
- Work with clients who may have co-occurring conditions, such as PTSD, and understand the importance of adapting interventions to meet their unique needs.
- Develop and maintain a positive, nurturing environment that promotes trust and rapport with the clients and families we serve.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, including behavioral coaching and communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing information.
**Qualifications:**
- A bachelor's degree in a field related to behavioral therapy or a related field.
- Experience working in the field, plus one year of work experience in behavioral health service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and behavioral management techniques.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies .
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
Schedule:
- 5 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
