Hope Power & Industrial a heavy industrial manpower resource has immediate opening for industrial mechanical supervisor to fill the position supervising crews that perform rigging, millwright, process piping systems, structural iron work, duct systems. Unless assigned to a projects beyond 60 miles from residence there will NOT be any (PER DIEM or TRAVEL EXPENSE).
Need immediately heavy industrial mechanical supervisor with minium 5 years experience managing a crew at multiple site consisting of 5 to 20 employees. Blueprint Reading Skills, Hands on experience in Rigging / Millwright proce4ss eqquipment, Field Fabrication, process piping, Welding, steel erection and HVAC duct systems. Experience with industrial duct work experience is a plus. Must be able to direct and supervise the installation, dismantling, relocation, reassembly and aligning of equipment and machinery in accordance with all plans, specifications, tolerances and industry standards. Perform machinery maintenance and troubleshoot as required on plant equipment to be installed. Assist with estimate of field labor, material take off, requisition materials and required construction equipment, direct subcontractors. Plan and coordinate the efforts of the field crew workers under his/her supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly and efficiently. General Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Strong background and experience in OSHA Safety process and project documentation.
- Strong background and experience in millwright and heavy rigging of heavy equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Through knowledge of OSHA and all aspects of construction safety.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Be able to perform all the principal duties and accountabilities of craft workers in crew
Lead and support all safety related processes and programs as requested.
Report all accidents and incidents to PM. Participate in investigation process as needed. Review accidents and the causes with employees.
Understand and respond appropriately to all safety hazards and warning devices
Gain a complete understanding of the scope of work and the related parts of the project. Develop a thorough understanding of the project plans, specifications and schedule as they relate to that portion of the work assigned.
Conduct tool box meetings and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules to the crews.
Assure employees produce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated, maintained, in good working order, and Daily Equipment Inspections are completed for equipment being used
