What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Hope Publications LLC?
We’re looking for a self motivated, personable individual to sell advertising for our community newspaper. Microsoft and Google suite experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and visits to local businesses
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Continuously improve through feedback
Skills
- Proven work experience as a sales representative preferred, willing to train the right person
- Knowledge of MS Office and Google suite preferred
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships a plus
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
